1. Product introduction:
Copper Boron Alloy is a copper-boron intermediate alloy containing 4.0-7.0% boron, which is used for the addition of boron elements in copper alloy melting, with low addition temperature and accurate composition control. It is mainly used as an additive or deaerator for all kinds of boron elements. It is an efficient boron additive for copper processing. A small amount of boron (0.005-0.05%wt) can significantly improve the strength and corrosion resistance of copper. The alloy is characterized by a high specific gravity and high boron utilization. It has a bright copper-colored luster and is very tough.
It is mainly used by calculating the amount of boron to be added, adding the copper boron ingot to the melting furnace together with the copper raw material, and directly heating up the melting. Or add the copper-boron alloy after the copper water is melted, the former is suitable for adding a large amount of boron, and the latter is suitable for adding a trace of boron.
2. Product details:
Copper master alloy is mainly used as the base metal of copper alloy to add special elements, such as high chemical activity, low melting point, volatile elements, high melting point metal, which is difficult to add directly. The master alloy can reduce the burning loss of elements when adding, obtain stable alloy composition and higher element recovery rate, reduce the melting temperature, shorten the smelting time of metal materials and reduce the smelting temperature. It can also reduce the impurity content in the metal material and improve the distribution uniformity of the added elements in the material. Cu-B alloy, Cu-Mg alloy, Cu-P alloy are used to add boron, magnesium, phosphorus and other elements to copper base alloy.

(1). Boron copper alloy is one of the important master alloys for copper alloy deoxidation, corrosion resistance and strength improvement. It is also an important additive to improve the hardness and corrosion resistance of cast iron.
(2). Boron copper alloy used in the generation of cooling copper tube production process, as boron element additives added to the copper can play a role in preventing corrosion, enhance the mechanical strength, but also can improve the performance of copper, prolong its service life, for the extension of the service cycle of the generator set plays a decisive role.
