Oil and Gas Industry:
This powder is utilized in drilling equipment and other components subjected to extreme pressure and wear.
Metal chromium powder or chromium oxide and carbon powder are mixed and pressed for molding, and sintered at a temperature above 1000°C in a reducing atmosphere. Or mix the chromium carbide powder with graphite and water evenly, put it into a corundum crucible, cover it with graphite, cover it and burn it at 1400°C for 3h. After cooling, sieving was performed to obtain chromium carbide powder.
