Iron Zirconium Master Alloy is composed of zirconium, iron, silicon, aluminum and other elements. The main role of iron zirconium is to improve the material structure and refine the grain. Zirconium is a strong deoxidizing and denitrifying element used in steel making. Zirconium refines the austenitic grains of steel. Since zirconium is one of the strongest deoxidizers in steelmaking and has a special role in the steel industry, Iron Zirconium is used as a special deoxidizer and additive in high-temperature alloys, high-strength steels, ultra-high-strength steels and cast irons, and then in atomic energy technology, aerospace, broadcasting, etc.
Our commonly used ferro-zirconium alloys are ferro-silicon zirconium alloys, aluminum-ferro-zirconium alloys and silicon-zirconium alloys. They are available in several types, low-grade alloys containing 5-8% Zr, 40-45% Si; mid-grade alloys with 12-15% Zr and 39-43% Si; and high-grade alloys with 35-40% Zr and 47-52% Si, with the balance of Fe and Al. It is a proprietary composite alloy with Zr less than 10% and also contains Mn, Al, Si, Ti and other elements. Since zirconium is a deoxidizer in steelmaking in the steel industry and has a special role, iron zirconium is used as a special deoxidizer and additive in high-temperature alloys, high-strength steels, ultra-high-strength steels and cast irons, and thus in atomic energy technology, aerospace, broadcasting, etc.
